1.1 BBC NATURES CALENDAR - WETLANDS - featuring Woolston Eyes presented by Chris Packham

On 23rd April 2006 Chris Packham joined the 'West Midlands Bird Club' field trip to Woolston Eyes Nature Reserve to record an item for his forthcoming television series, 'Natures Calendar'.

Ray Davis, of the West Midlands Bird Club, explains: before our planned field trip to Woolston Eyes, we were contacted by Stuart Woodman, a BBC Television producer. He wished to involve us in the production of a programme in the series, Natures Calendar due to be broadcast in March 2007. Along with Chris Pacham (then presenter of 'Hands On Nature') and two cameramen he accompanied 46 members on our coach journey and during our visit to Woolston Eyes - adding a different sort of experience to the usual field meeting agenda!
